Seiko Epson has developed two new vibration sensors, the M-A342VD10 and M-A542VR10, to contribute to the protection of social infrastructure essential for community safety. The latter model, M-A542VR10, features a dust and water-resistant RS422 interface. Both products meet the evaluation criteria for motors according to ISO 10816 and ISO 20816 standards. They are three-axis vibration sensors with digital velocity and displacement amplitude output. These sensors are distinguished by their low self-noise, high stability, and low power consumption, thanks to quartz sensor elements manufactured using Epson's unique microfabrication technology.
