The long-postponed discontinuation of the programmable SPXO series SG-8002 in the CA (7.0x5.0mm) and CE (3.2x2.5mm) packages has now been officially announced. With EOL notifications 25-006 (3.0V/3.3V) and 25-007 (5.0V), the end of this long-standing product series has been confirmed.

The SG-8018 series, for example, provides significantly lower power consumption, reduced phase jitter, and an extended frequency range, and is already available. For the 5V version, the SG-8202—scheduled for release in spring 2027—will deliver substantially enhanced specifications. 

While the 3.0V/3.3V variants can be replaced immediately and short-term with the SG-8018 CA/CE, the 5.0V version requires more advanced planning. For larger volumes, please contact us to discuss customized logistics concepts or framework agreements.
